Who Are Adeche?
Adwoa Botchey and Solomon Adebiyi are the multi-award-winning creative duo behind Adeche Atelier, a research-driven studio that reimagines African mythology, folklore, and spirituality for modern audiences.
Winners of the ITV bCreator Awards: Canon Best Original Content Creator and recipients of the All Things Africa Cultural Vanguard Award, they are celebrated for advancing cultural literacy and championing overlooked narratives. Their work blends fine art, education, and social media content.
With high-profile commissions from the National Gallery, BBC Arts, the Fitzwilliam Museum, and Tate Britain. Painting simultaneously on the same canvas, the duo combine striking visual storytelling with educational outreach, building a global community of over half a million followers. Through their podcast Afro Mythos, exhibitions, talks, workshops, and consultancy for institutions, Adwoa and Solomon lead the charge in preserving and reimagining African stories for future generations.
